Lefschetz Fibrations with Arbitrary Slope

Abstract: In joint work with Adalet Çengel, we proved that for any real number $r \in (2, 8)$, there exists a genus-$g$ Lefschetz fibration over the two-sphere with large enough genus-$g$ having the slope arbitrarily close to $r$. In this talk, I am planning to explain this work.
